About Tidy

Built by an
operator.
For operators.

Tidy started as an internal tool — a faster way to write proposals that don't lowball the work. It turned out other cleaning operators had the same problem. So we shipped it.

The story

We got tired of losing bids to companies with bigger teams.

Not because they cleaned better — because they bid faster and looked more expensive. So we built the tool we wished existed.

The problem

Math by gut feel.

Most cleaning companies bid by gut feel. A 20,000 sqft office gets a square-footage guess, a flat hourly, and a margin pulled from the air. The job gets won, the crew shows up, the math doesn't work, and the operator eats the difference for six months.

That's the death-by-a-thousand-cuts nobody talks about. Every job that closes at the wrong price is a job that funds the next job's marketing budget — until it doesn't.

The fix

Real math, packaged for one.

Tidy replaces the gut feel with the same math a $200/hr agency estimator uses — productivity rates by task, real labor cost, overhead burden, profit floor — but packaged so a one-person shop can run it between two cleanings.

Per-user pricing, not per-company. Your price is your price. The math stops being a guess.

What we believe

Four operating principles.
No committee, no exceptions.

The operator knows the work.

Software should help an experienced operator move faster, not pretend it knows the building. Tidy assumes the person using it has done the job — and has strong opinions about what a lobby needs on a Tuesday night. We build for that operator, not for the imaginary mid-market buyer.

PRINCIPLE 01

No bloat.

Every feature has to earn its place in the bidding flow. If it doesn't make a proposal better, faster, or more likely to close, it doesn't ship.

Honest pricing.

No enterprise tier with feature gates. No "contact sales" for the part of the product that actually matters. What you see is what you get — and the free tier stays free forever.

NON-NEGOTIABLE

Ship with the people who use it.

Every beta operator has a direct line to the builder. Every shipped feature traces back to something someone on a real crew asked for. We don't ship a roadmap we drew on a whiteboard — we ship what the cohort is asking for.

The promise.

You will always know what we're building and why. The roadmap lives in the open. The pricing lives in the open. The bad decisions (and there will be some) get explained in the open. We're betting that operators who'd rather text than fill out a Salesforce form will respond to a company that doesn't pretend to be bigger than it is.

v1 ships with

The toolkit of a
$200/hr estimator,
at $49/mo.

Everything below is in the box on day one of your trial. No upsells, no "coming soon," no enterprise tier that gates the part you actually need.

Per-user price profiles

Wage, overhead, profit, productivity by task, consumables per sqft, region. Save five profiles. Switch mid-bid. Compare what-ifs.

FLAGSHIP

Branded PDF proposals

Cover page, line items, workloading math, terms, signature line. Looks like it came from an agency. Opens on every device.

Bid pipeline

Draft → sent → viewed → won/lost. Open tracking. One-click status flips.

Auto follow-up

Day 3, 7, 14 stale-bid nudge. Write it once; Tidy sends it.

CRM, no bloat

Customers from won bids. Prospects from your intake form. Kanban pipeline. Notes, contacts, basic email log. That's it — and you own all of it.

Branded share links

Send a one-click proposal link instead of an attachment. You see when the building manager opens it. They don't need a login to view.

Inside the dashboard

The artifact that
closes the deal.

A branded PDF proposal in the wild. Cover, line items, workloading math, terms, signature line. The thing the building manager's actually looking at when they decide to sign.
